Check engine light is on. Car "coughs" during acceleration. Sometimes, Brake Servo Failure warning light comes on too.

Hi my name is Dan.

Sounds like the engine may have a skip to it. Have you pulled the DTC (diagnostic trouble codes)? Sometimes a code like P0302 would point you to the cylinder which is having the issue to help you narrow down the problem. Sometimes it could be as easy as a spark plug or a coil.

Can you check the codes and let us know please?

I've also attached an article about misfires which will help if this is the issue.

Please run through this material and let us know what you find. Thanks

Hi,

I noticed it has been a couple of days since we have made contact. Has any progress been made?

I looked at the codes you have and feel that the MAP sensor may be causing the misfires. Have you checked anything as far as wiring related to it?

Please understand, this vehicle in 2011 wasn't offered in the US, so our manuals don't provide specifics. However, we will try our best to help.

Let us know.

Joe
