Grinding noise

I am hearing a grinding noise coming from the belt area. It started when I started using my air conditioner. The oil is fine it blows cold air, it is not overheating it still drives good. It is like a grinding noise.

Hi Mary.

It sounds like you have serpentine belt tension-er that has gone out.
