On occasion my vehicle will crank continuously but fail to kick over and start. Later it will start with no problem. I had the fuel pump replaced but this still continues.

Good morning,

When it does not start, did you hear the fuel pump run?

When it did not start, did the tachometer move up a little while cranking? That will tell me if the crank sensor is sending a signal to the ECM.

Sorry, I don't know what a fuel pump sounds like and I didn't notice the tachometer moving up. I will check if it happens again soon.
