After driving about 20 miles in 94 degree heat outside on Sunday, with the air condition on, I stopped my 2002 Hyundai Sonata in front of my home with the car in park when the battery light came on. I started to smell something electrical burning so I cut off the car engine. The car then would not restart and no check engine light came on. I had to have my car towed in for service and in the morning they could not find anything wrong. Can you tell me what might be the problem?

Hi Andre2009,

If the car is running without problem and repairs carried out, most probably you have a loose electrical connection somewhere. The problem will most likely crop up again sooner or later.

Ask your mechanic to check for loose or burnt electrical connections.
