Khlow, you are coorect, the pump will run then shut off!

It does this just to prime enough for the vehicle will start, and the pump stays off as soon as you hear the computer "click" then its off. From there it waits for an ignition reference before it turns on. Thats how just about any vehicle is designed.

The only reason the pump may continue to run with a injector removed is because it will build absolutely no pressure and keep running.

Hi guys!
Wow! I guess its been a couple days since I've had a chance to get online.
Anyway, the thing is fixed. Its running now!

I've learned more about this car then I ever expected to.

This is what happened, I bought a new CAM sensor (from the dealer - sealed in the bag and sealed in the box), put it in the car, and it runs the way that it should.

As I was taking the sensor out of the bag, I was thinking that the other one I bought wasn't in a sealed box?

I also learned that the computer has a 4 second timer attached to the CAM signal. If the computer does not get at least 1 signal coming from the CAM sensor every 4 seconds it will shut the engine down because it uses the CAM signal to time the sequential injection.

Believe me, I checked all the basic stuff first!
The coils were arking, the fuel pressure was odd (the inside part of the fuel rail was like an oval where the regulator plugs into it), I checked hoses, vacuum leaks - all that stuff The ignition sensor, was working the first time I tested it, and it died somewhere aboout week 3.

Guys, I want to say thank you for all the help, and I really appreciate your efforts, and your input!

Always make sure it is sealed! Most parts always fail in the infancy, right after they are first used.

Glad to hear the code it threw helped and the CAM sensor fixed it.
