2002 Hyundai Elantra Trouble filling gas tank

I am having trouble filling up with gas. The nozzle shuts up frequently (as if full) and the only way to fill up is to fill very slowly. NO check engine light.

Chances are the check ball where the filler tube enters the tank is sticking. It is a check ball to prevent fuel from leaking from the tank in the event of a roll over. You will most likely need to disconnect the filler hose where it enters the tank and ckeck to see if it stuck.
