I recently bought a new Ford Focus SE. I did previously have a V6 engine in my earlier car and I miss the stronger HP. What are some options I have for making my new car faster. Is a turbo charge an option for car like this? I just really want the car to be able to accelerate faster and be a little louder

Honestly you should have went with the ST model if thats what you were after. I can't find any turbo kits from my search, but maybe you may be able to search for one. Without a turbo you can try cold air intake, exhaust headers, computer programmer, and/or exhaust system.

How much would that end up increasing the horsepower overall? And what sort of costs am I looking at?

Intake can be $180-$300. Programmer about $400, and exhaust can be $500-850.

The amount of horsepower gained I will not be able to tell you as it is all very variable. I would join an online forum and search there and ask other owners with your vehicle.
