How radiator fans and thermostat works

After the radiator fans have turn on when the engine has reached the normal temperature. How is the radiator fans suppose to work after turn on?

It help but my car radiator fans don't off and on after turn up. Is there any problem with that.

Not sure I understand. Are the fans staying on after the key is turned off? If that is the case, I would check to see if there is an issue with one of the relays.
