Car only moves in reverse

Car was running just fine, transmission shifting fine, everything's fine. I drove my car I turned it off when I turned it back on and try to drive away and there's no drive only reverse. There are no signs of slippage, no signs of nothing. It just stopped going in drive. It stop going forward all I have is reverse.

Good morning,

When was the last time you changed the fluid in the transmission? A partially clogged filter would cause this issue.

Beyond that, it sounds like an internal failure in the transmission. It would need to be removed and broken down for inspection for the failure.
