Hi, I have a 98 3.2L Passport that runs on 2, 4, 6, cylinders only. 1, 3, 5, are dead. The compression is 175 psi (+ - 3psi) on all 6 cylinders. The fuel injectors are pulsing and the plugs are wet when you remove them. The plugs and coils have been swapped from side to side. The problem does not swap. The coils will fire when tested, removed with a ground wire attached and a plug stuck in it. So we have fuel, fire and compression why does it not run? In addition the ECU has been replaced 2 Times, no difference, and the cylinders will fire if you manualy fire the coil. The wires have been checked from the coils to the ECU. The ground wires at the coils have been checked and also the B+ wires, all tested good. Please help if you can.
Thanks
David

Ok here is what I see. The wiring is very simple to the coils. You have a ignition fuse (15amp) and then you have the PCM which triggers the coils. Now have you checked the red wire to coil 1 and the red wire with the blue stripe to coil 3 and the red wire with the yellow stripe to coil 5 to see if the computer is sending the signal to fire the coils? Have you checked the cam or cranksensors? You have checked the ground on the right side of the intake manifold that ground those three injectors as well as the black wire with the orange stripe that connects them to the harness that connects them to the condenser? Let me know what you find. Please check the black ground wire that grounds them to the manifold these three have there own ground seperate from the other three.
