2005 Honda Odyssey 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

the lights on the column for the gear shifter are out. Sometimes they come on and sometimes they are off. Could this be a fuse issue or someting a lot bigger?

Hi tanman0421,

If it is the backlight that you are refering to, then it most likely is a loose wire connection or the illumination light bulb ia bad. A fuse fault would affect the dash illuminations as well.

Thanks for the answer but how would I get to the illumination light bulb to check if it is bad or the wire to check if it is loose?

You would need to remove the dash center lower covr to get at it.

I have sent the procedures to you and just remove whatever is necessary
