Shifter light "D" flashing 2004 odessey

2004 odessey when you are driving. The "D" for drive flashes. When you stop and turn off engine and restart it goes away and sometimes comes on after a couple days or hours. Can anyone help?

Well, I can tell you that I have 2001, six month after my D flashed, I found that I need new transmission.
I do not know if your and my "D" flashing is a or it's not a Honda code to bad transmission.
