My ac unit had a major repair by certified honda dealer 7/25/07. Everything was going ok till about 3 weeks ago and I heard a rattle inside one of the vents. While sitting idle the ac gets between 60 and 70 degrees and while driving gets hotter. We check for leaks using your no oil on the hose and such the compessor kicks on and the clutch belts works good. In checking the heater vent to see if it opens and closes while ac is on low when turning ac to low and then turning heater on we could hear the heater vent open, when turning from hot back to cold we could not hear the door close but the air went back between 60-70 degrees. We have not cecked the ac pressure yet. Any clues?

Hi awhitpat,

Seems like you don't have enough refrigerant in the system. Check the pressure first.

Thanks guys. But we found the problem was the motor that opens the recirculated air door. As soon as we got that fix ans the door opened iwas opening the flood gates and the ac blows ice cold. There were no bubbles so it was fill of refrigerant. Thanks for the answer.
