2002 Honda Civic, EX 150k Miles.
I brought my car in the be looked at because my car was shaking when I got up to 70 mph and when I go over bumps it sounds like I need shocks in the front. I told the mechanic that I wanted an alignment, but before he did anything, I wanted him to tell me exactly what was wrong with my front end. They told me nothing was wrong and did the alignment anyway. My question is, if I bring it somehwere else and ask them to tell me what is wrong and they fix it, will that mess up my alignment?

Yes. What do you think is wrong? You cannot align a car that has a bad front end part.
