Changing 1993 Honda Civic alternator belt

How do we take the other belts off to get to put the alternator belt on?

Depending on the number of belts you need to fight through it is not that bad. The major components have slide tigheners on them and that bolt needs to be loosened. The pivot point bolt should be loosened and then any tightening bolts should be loosened until the device is loose enough to get the belts off. It looks like a jungle in there and it is with all of the components in such a close quartered area. Common mechanical skills help alot and the right tools. It is important to look at all belts and to get the proper tension on the belts to avoid slipping and premature wear.
