My car after driving for a little while when pulling up to a stop light will drop out and will start right back up and run fine while moving the problem doesnt happen every time you stop but the days it does it will keep doing it. Also the idle when you put the car in drive drops severily especially in reverse sometimes when you go to reverse the car will start jumping and bucking the engine will die but whether being at a stop light or in reverse if you hurry up and put it in neautral it will stop until the next time I have replace the coolant temp sensor the thermostat the timing belt the spark plugs the trans has been rebuilt the powersteering pump has been replaced I have checked all fuses the coolant level is fine I am at a loss and no one I talk to knows what the problem is can you please help as you can see I dont have that much money left to donate at this time but I will make it up in the future

Hi rickyashby,

The symptoms described shows that the idling is erractic causing the problem.

Possible causes.
1. Low idling speed, You need to clean the throttle body and Intake Air Control valve.
2. Valve clearance too tight resulting in valve leakages and poor idling.
3. Uneven compression among the cylinders, do a compression test to find out.
