Transmission problem
2001 Honda Civic 4 cyl Automatic

I have a 2001 Honda Civic that just recently started acting up. I would barley step on gas and it would start to accelerate and my rpms would go up.

I then noticed the check engine light came on. So when I got home my dad checked transmission fluid and noticed it was empty.

So he put in 2 quarts and well now it only reverses and doesnt drive.

is my transmission totally shot? Or what do I do or try now?

HI there,

I feel that it is time for a tow into the transmission specialist, there is nothing you can do with modern autos at home apart from checking the oil level, you can get the scan done at the same time to see what the set fault code it, more than likely it will be transmission related.
