I just change the pressure plate, throw bearing, clutch disk. The clutch was completely toast when it went out I had no reverse first then I was doing like twenty mph at 4000 to 5000 rpm. Replaced all now the reverse still will not work. Any ideas?

Check the shift linkage to be sure it is selecting reverse when you shift it. If the linkage is okay the problem would have to be inside the transmission. Either the reverse shift fork, lockout or the idler gear.

Thanks Steve W. Appreciate you help and quick response. I checked the linkage its moving in sync, with the shifter inside the car but not allowing the shifter to achieve the reverse position. Is the shift fork lockout and idler gear accessible under the plate where shifter linkage is mounted on top of the transmission housing.

The transmission would have to come apart to get to them.
