1999 Honda Civic upgrade

I am wanting to know how I can upgrade my car and give it more power. Everything on the car is factory. I didnt know if a intake would help or a new exhaust. Also, what kind of exhaust can I get without making it sound like a weedeater, I want a more deep sounding exhaust.

One of the things you can consider is to get a performance air filter. You can also grab a performance oil filter or something like that too.

I personally have my Civ stock, I didn't want to make any changes to the exhaust or whatnot. It's a very specialized niche and I wanted to keep my options open for when the day comes and I sell it.

You can also do things like use Higher Octane Fuel or use an additive like STP Octane Booster. I also recommend you use a Fuel Injector Cleaner every oil change to help clean out deposits.
