With ignition switch turned on, dash indicators showing and no power to distributor would mean a break in the wiring circuit.

Now would be the difficult part. Locating the source of the break.

Sounds like yoru not getting an ignition pulse. Possibly bad icm or crank sensor but what you should do first is to put a noid light in between th power and ground on coil and crank. Does it flash?

I got the black and yellow wire to have power now. But it wont turn over now.

How did you do that?

Now you need to test for battery voltage to the starter solenoid.
High possibility you have a bad ignition switch.

Today when I went to test the black and yellow wire it had power but then it wouldnt crank.

Did you test the starter solenoid wire for battery voltage at cranking position?

The same wire is powered from the ignition switch. Try same procedure and test at ignition side for the same wire. If voltage is not available, you have a faulty ignition switch.
