Have a trans guy scan for codes, when engine was replaced it may have damaged the oil pump due to incorrect install of torque converter.

Hmm I'll check in with the Transmission guy. So it must be damaged from taking out both the transmission and motor and swapping the transmission to the new motor. He said the code read P1768 which was the Linear Solenoid and the code did not pop up on the scanner anymore but the other code that popped up, I believe was a P700 or P0700.

What happens is the torque convert slips a little then you put it back in without knowing and it breaks the pump gear or puts junk in trans. However if the engine runs bad then the trans will as well. There are three different transmissions for your car and code 700 means there are multiple codes present.

You should at least have it checked out first because it may be a trans control module which anew trans won't help or a wiring issue as the trans you have may be ok.
