1995 Honda Civic shift problem

Transmission works fine at start up and then after 1-2 miles or so disengages/slips in all gears forward and reverse. Turn the ignition off, restart and it works fine again for a distance.

Thank you for the donation.

If the trans fluid level is correct then the fluid filter, which is a non serviceable part located in the trans assy, is clogged and you would have to rebuild or replace the trans.
