Here is the problem. We had to replace the entire air conditioning unit, but it is still giving us problems. It does not get cold, and we have added freon. When we are driving it makes a very loud squeeking noise, and its only when the a/c is on that it makes this noise. When the noise comes on the air gets even warmer. We have tried to tighten the belt and that has not done anything. Can you please help us?

You replaced the whole system? Was this done at a Dealer or do it yourself? For sqeaking I would like you to run engine with a/c on. Watch the belt to see if it vibrates. You may need to replace belt if it does, it could be stretched to the point it can't be tightened anymore. Also, ck. Idler pulley belt runs on, it could be bad & only making noise when a/c on & puts more load on it. For cold air, I want you to look for Hot/Cold valve on heater hoses coming out of firewall from heater core. Should be close to Firewall. This valve may be seized up. If it stuck in hot mode, hot water keeps going through hoses & warms the cold a/c air. Have someone turn control knob from hot to cold while you watch valve, is it moving? If not, disconnect cable, spay w/penatrating oil, P.B. Blaster, W.D.40, or any kind. Then work valve back & forth 'till it moves freely. Also ck. Inside of control knob pull it off & make sure knob is not broken in center, 1/2 moon shape. Let us know how you make out or if you need more help. Good Luck.
