You may have a trans. Issue. Ck. The trans fluid level on a flat surface. DO NOT HAVE CAR RUNNING ! Honda tranny's are checked with the engine "Off". Check the color of the fluid, if it is brown or dark red, this is an indication of internal problem in some cases. Smell the fluid, if it smells burnt, that is a good indication you have an internal problem. To check shifting quality, from a complete stop, put trans. In lowest gear you can manually. Do a normal "Take-Off from a stop", when your R.P.M.'S get high enough, shift into next gear & see if you can feel it shift. Keep doing this "Manual Shift 'till you are all the way up to "D". Does the trans. Seem to be upshifting O.K.? There could be a problem with 1st gear & the car is taking off in 2nd. This will definately give you a vibraion taking off from a stop. If this is the case, you will not notice it on road test cause car is'nt in 1st gear at all, if it's starting out in 2nd. Good Luck, let us know if I can give you any more help. If it's not your trans., Ck. All your frt. End components, steering, susp. Ect.
