1998 Honda Civic car running rough

1998 Honda Civic 4 cyl 143000 miles

car just started running rough and a considerable amount of power was lost, and the check engine light came on flashing. So I scanned the light and came up with multiple cylinder misfire. I checked the plugs and they seem to be fine. I did a compression test and all was in the range of 185-190 I also noticed that it just started burning oil as well. Anyone have suggestions on what could be the problem? Thanks

Do a cylinder balance test. When you isolate a dead cylinder test fuel and spark to that cylinder. One will most likely be missing. Then properly diagnosis why the item is missing.
