1996 Honda Civic Stalls while driving

The car starts well and drives and then out of the blue while driving just turns off. The car has to be jumped to get it to start. Once started it sputters and coughs for a while (3 minutes or so) like it has bad gas in it and then catches up and is fine for about 3 or 4 days and does it again. Fuel filter was replaced 3 weeks ago but it was suggested there may be an electrical problem since a jump is needed to start it.

there may be an electrical problem since a jump is needed to start it. Lets have the charging system check and tested could be a failing alternator, also get he battery load tested-Everything okay so far-check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel pump
