1996 Honda Civic Squealing Manual Transmission

My manual Tranny makes a squealing sound intermittantly. Is this just a fluid thing or is this something more involved?

Does the sound seem to come from the transmission or the front end? Does it change when turning?
It could be a fluid issue, according to my database, Honda reccomends changing the fluid every 30,000 miles, so check your fluid and and change if it has been a while. If it it coming from farther to the front and the noise changes on turns it may be a failing wheel bearing also.
Just a couple of ideas, let me know.
