1995 Honda Civic brake rotor replacement

When replacing disc pads, what measurements do I need to check on a rotor to see if I can keep the rotors as is, turn them, or have to replace them? I have to measure the thickness of the rotors and check for scoring. If I need to check waviness as the rotor is turning or cupping from the inner part to the outer part, how do I do that?

Hi daveshmo,

When the surface of the rotors are smooth and you do not have vibrations when applying the brakes, you need not bother about the rotors.

To test runout you would need a dial gauge
