1990 Honda Civic falling apart

My shifter rod came off at the selecter so I put a bolt in to get home but will only go in 3rd and 4th does this sound like tranny or clutch? Keeping in mind my clutch was at the last adjustment.

Will first fix the shifter linkage. Anything that's a bit off in the shifter will affect your shifting.

If you are sure the linkage is fine, it sounds like a transmission or clutch issue.
