STALE GAS

I have a 2003 Honda Accord with 44,000 miles. My brother put stale gas in the tank. The car stalled out on him and he had the car towed back to my house. What do I need to do to fix this myself (and is it inexpensive) or do I have to take it to a mechanic?

First of how much gas did he put in and how stale was the gas?

You can by some octane stabilizer and fill the tank with fresh gas and hope it clears up.

If no start then it is about a $1500 dollar fix because the tank has to be removed and all the system flushed. Shame on him!
