No radio system after changing battery-Honda Accord 2003

I just change my car's battery for the first time on my Honda Accord 2003 EX-V6. Now I am without a radiio. It appears that no matter what I push on the audio system buttons I get CODE. The only thing I could do was eject all my 6 cds. I did get ERR (error) some of the time when I pushed the number corresponding to the cd and it spelled out CODE. I have not been able to get a radio station or use the CD player. In addition, trying to reset the clock was unfruitful. The audio system was working fine until I changed the battery but no matter what I push nothing works.

Has anyone encounter this problem before? If anyone can help I'd appreciate it. Thank you.

This is a security feature on the radio. Now here is how to hopefully restore the use of the radio.

IF you have the original documentation for the vehicle you will have a code for the radio. The code may also be on the inside of the glove box or someone may have jotted it down on the owners manual. If you have no luck. Get the serial number off the radio, take the car to the dealer and talk real nice to the service manager. They can look that up for you, some will do it for free and other have a charge for it. Write the code down in the owners manual.
