1991 honda accord lx approx 170k miles it is a automatic, well at first when I would slown down or stop my car would stall until I started putting it in neutral and keeping my foot on the gas. That was fine for awhile until one day I started it and it just shut's off. (Spark plugs and wires and distribitor are new as well as the battery) so if I was to start it now it will act like it wants to turn over however can't. Or it will then shut right off. Please help me!

When the car does not start is there spark to the plugs. No spark I might start with testing the coil. It could be a sensor failing as well. Start with the testing of spark when the engine will not start.
