Steering problem
2005 Honda Accord 4 cyl Automatic 43000 miles

I just brought my car into the dealer today to replace my dead battery. While doing the inspection, they found out that the power steering fluid was leaking. So, they said I have to flush it and replace the o-ring. The sum comes up to be 230 for the flush and o-ring replacement. Is it too much? Is it ok to bring the car to an independent garage for the flush and replacement?

Independent garage will do it for a little less expensive. Just make sure that they use power steering fluid made for Honda. You don't have to buy the fluid from Honda, just ones that is designed specifically for Honda, such as Bardhal P/S Fluid 57136 or Coastal 2134360-
