I recently had my compressor replaced and the freon refilled so everything was working fine. Then after a week all of the sudden everytime the AC is on and I take a left curve I hear a loud blowing sound on the passenger side and when the car straightens out the noise goes away. And I also noticed a little bit of water on the passenger side floor mat which was noticeable with the all season floor mats. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Yes, it sounds like your evaporator drain is plugged up and water is accumulating inside the evaporator case. You can locate the drain hose coming out of the firewall and either blow it out with air or stick a coat hanger in to try to clear it. You should see a gush of water when it clears.

You need to immediately remove the carpet to dry it out or you are going to have mildew grow under the rug that will never go away. The padding under the carpet will hold the water and never dry even if the surface does. Get the carpet dried out in the sun and you may save it. Otherwise you'll end up having to replace the carpet
