2001 Honda Accord overheating, loss of power, shutter

My 2001 Accord suddenly I noticed after driving about 10 or 15 miles was having a loss of power then after taking off from a stop it would shake or shutter three times real hard. When I got out to look at the engine the radiator was boing over into the overflow tank. After sitting is fine and does not happen on short drives.

Hi jdsmith61,

The engine is probably overheating maybe due to a clogged radiator or thermostat.

If it is not overheating, then you need to replace the radiator cap and check the ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature) sensor.
