2000 Honda Accord Noise when letting off gas

Just recently started hearing a rattling, kinda humming noise coming from under hood to maybe underneth vehicle, when I let my foot off of the gas peddle and sometimes when just starting to accelerate. Noise goes away when I press the gas peddle again?

Hi rcbrownfield,

It could be anything from a loose exhaust heat shield to a bad catalytic converter.

A physical inspection of the vehicle would be required to locate the source of the noise.
