2000 Honda Accord 4 cyl 150+ miles

hey there readers. I would like some engine help

Whenever I put the enigne on the maintenace required light comes on then off but Just recently whenver I put the engine on the maintenace light comes on and stay on plus the enigne or tran light is also on. I took it for a run and it ran exaclty the same as the first day I got it. I was wondering if that is just fault lights or it means bussness? Ty for your time

Talking about the check engine light? If so, get the codes pulled from the computer.
