My car it doesn't stop unless I press it all the way to the floor

I changed my brake pads by my self for the first time. And I followed every step there was to take 1. Take of tire 2. Take off the two skrew behind 3. Take out old brake pads. 4. Use c clamp to put pissions back in place. 5. Put new pads on 6. Skrew back on 7. Tire back on. 8 press brakes in car till get firm. 9. I did all of that but when I drive my car it doesnt stop unless I press it all the way to the floor and pump it again. Then it contiue to do the same thing when I move forward again. I have brake fluid in my car. Whats wrong?

ps/ I did accidently unskrew the place where the brake fluid comes from a lil did leak out but I skrewed it back in
