1999 Honda Accord Rattling and Grinding

When I am driving my car is making this rattling/clanging sound, when I break it stops rattling and my brakes start grinding. It doesn't always make the clanging sound, usually only when I am going less than 45mph. I know I need to replace my brakes, but what is the clanging sound and is that something that I need to be worried about?

Hi srliterovich,

Without any visual of the vehicle, it is not possible to speculate on the cause. Get the brakes checked/replaced and at the same time note if anything is loose.
