Electrical problem
1999 Honda Accord 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

When I replaced the battery the other day I had to of course reset the clock but for some reason the stereo doesn't work now and it keeps asking for a code of some kind. It seems to be a 4 digit code. Does anyone know how to fix this problem or what is going on!

When you purchased the vehicle you were given a 4 digit radio code. If you did not receive this code you must contact Honda in order to retrieve the code.

Thank you for your info. I bought the car from a private owner so the stereo code situation was unknown to me until now. I will contact the/a Honda dealer to get the code. Again thanks for your reply!

U will need to pull the stock radio out and look at the bottom of it. You need to provide the serial # of radio to the dealership in order to get the code. Sometimes they're are 5 digits, mine was. I just did this and thought if I cld help I wld.
