1999 Honda Accord car stalls and sometimes hard to turn ove

My accord has been cutting out intermittantly while driving. The engine seems to stop, the dash lights come on, and you can hear a little click come from the dash. Also all of the needles on the guages drop like the car is off. The strange part is if you try to turn it over the ignition grinds as if the car is on. Then with out doing anything the car is functioning fine again without restarting. For the first time yesterday when trying to start the car it would turn over but not stay running but for a second. Then after the 5th try it turned over and stayed running like nothing was ever wrong. These problems are very intermitant and there seems to be no similarity as to when it happens. Can you please help me?
