Coolant fans do not go on unless A/C in on. Car overheats when A/c/ is not on. Do you know what part I need to change. They show various different parts in the HOnda manual for this problem.

Hi annettemisch,

The part to be replaced should be the fan switch located on the thermostat housing. Check for loose connections first.

Remove socket and bridge it, turn ignition on and if fan works, the fan switch is faulty or you don't have enough coolant in the system. If fans does not work with above, you need to check the wiring.
