1994 Honda Accord Shocks and springs

I have a 94 honda accord. Within about 4 month I have noticed that the suspension has gotten very soft. Are the coils (springs) supposed to be lifetime? Do I need only to change the struts?

If the vehicle ride height is below specifications or one side is way lower than the other, then the coils need to be replaced (or if they are broken)

If ride height is fine, the springs are fine and only the struts need to be changed.
