My brake lights stay on. This just started yesterday.I had to pull the fuse under the hood for them to shut off. Any input on fixing it, would greatly be appreciated.

Hi Chris Thomas,

There is a stopper for the brake switch located on the brake pedal which is most probably worn and dropped off. If it is missing, get it replaced, if not you need to check the pedal to switch adjustment and also for a faulty brake switch.

Hi Chris Thomas,

Surprised that the part is not available. That is known as the pedal switch stopper rubber. This is a generic part that is similar to some Toyota and Nissan models.

If you were to modify or install with anything else, make sure there is sufficient free travel before the pedal starts pushing the booster push rod.
