Ok im not really sure what is wrong with my car. It will start run for a bit then die. We have replaced the coil and checked the distributor. I had it at a garage and they say its a fireing problem. My check engin light is not on either is the matince required light on. I was told that it shouldnt be the compiter then. Im not sure where to go from here, could it be the fuel pump or what? Please help I need to get it running so I can go to work.

Hi FurBaby,

If starting fluid can get the engine started, it should be a fuel problem. Check the main relay and fuel pump for fuel supply.

Check for sparks at plugs by pulling out a plug cable and attaching a spark plug then crank engine. If no sparks, you need to check for power supply to distributor. If power is present, the ICM should be faulty.
