my 91 honda accord is blowing white smoke from the exsaust pipe, before that happened we drained the old oil and put new oil, afterwards the car started blowing white smoke. What could be possible problems? Also after running the car for awhile and then putting it back in park the idle surges, what does that mean? Also sometimes while taking long drives the car loses power and holds back. Help please.

Hi there,

What you are describing here is constant with a blown head gasket, I would go get a Co check done in the cooling system, this is a simple chemical test to detect any build up of Co, if so you will have a gasket problem, start here.
