1991 Honda Accord fuel pump

So I replaced th fuel pump in my car today and the thing is squirting fuel everywhere. I thought it was the part so I put the old one back on and the same thing happend. Any ideas?

I would say that the fuel lines are not locked in correctly, if these are a quick release coupling, make sure that they are pushed fully in until they click into place.
