Electrical problem
1991 Honda Accord 4 cyl 66000 miles

Car has been sitting for 10yrs and I filled up the gas tank and the guage shows empty. Could it be a fuse?

Check to see if the sending unit circuit is fine. Yes you can check the fuses, that would be a quick and easy check. However you may have a faulty sending unit.

The sending unit is inside the tank. On your vehicle I'm pretty sure if you remove the rear seat bench you can access the fuel pump and sending unit.

I am ensure about where the fuse would be located, check your owners manual.

How do you get the rear seat out to get to the gas sending unit on a lx four door. I've tried pulling the seat out put do not know what's holding it down.

On some models it is necessary to remove the back supports to access the bolts holding it in near the back of the bench. Once the bolts are removed you push the bench towards the back of the vehicle to unlatch the clips and pull it straight up.
