1991 Honda Accord

When I turn the car on it keeps revving up and down at consistent intervals. Also when I put the car into drive it moves foward on its own without me pressing the accelerator. Any idea what might be wrong and how to fix it?

This definitely sounds like a sever vacuum leak.

Pop the hood and listen for a hissing sound. Like air being sucked through a straw, or a cat hissing at you.

If you're lucky, it'll be a vacuum hose. If you're not, it'll be an intake gasket.
