1989 Honda Accord 4 cyl Automatic

Bought the car about 7 months ago, there was loud squealing noise, so my brother replaced the alternator. The owner before me said it was a new alternator. My brother takes the alternator out and found out the bearings were bad. I bought a brand new one, not cheap at all. & Months later the batterey light comes on. Everyone says it's the alternator, what do you think it is? And is there an easy way to remove an alternator from a 1989 Honda Accord?

I would take the car to a part's store to have the alternator tested if you can't drive it there then do you have a multimeter?That's where I would start then worry about if you had to change it. Let em know what you find.
